Running a business is hard.

Most small and medium-sized business owners are wearing multiple hats — following up with leads, answering customer questions, managing operations, staying organized, and trying to grow - often without large teams, expensive software, or access to the operational expertise that larger companies take for granted.

Yet most business software was designed for large companies with dedicated IT teams, operations staff, and specialists to manage it all.

After spending decades building systems for large enterprises, Aihui Ong and Mike Han kept asking the same question:

Why should only big companies have access to powerful tools and automation?

Aihui (pronounced i-we) started her career at PeopleSoft before going on to build and run two companies herself. Even after one was named one of America’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. 500, she still experienced firsthand how overwhelming it was managing customers, operations, marketing, and too many disconnected tools.

Mike spent over a decade building enterprise technology used by companies like Bank of America and Allianz, before later working at Amazon Web Services and helping scale Ardius before its acquisition by Gusto.

Together, they saw the same problem:

• Large companies had systems helping them stay organized, engage customers, and grow revenue.
• Small and medium-sized businesses were left juggling disconnected tools, manual work, and endless admin tasks.

Today, they believe AI can finally help level the playing field — giving growing businesses access to tools and automation once only available to large enterprises.

That belief led them to launch EasyMate AI.
